Summary: Seeking a Plant Superintendent experienced in corrugated manufacturing to manage safety, productivity, quality, and continuous improvement in production.

Job Requirements:

  • Five plus years of supervisory experience in corrugated manufacturing
  • Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree required

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in managing safety, production, quality, and waste percentages
  • Experience in budgeted labor cost control
  • Familiarity with maintenance and scheduling of PM's

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a 'Safety First' culture
  • Manage plant safety, production, quality, and waste percentages to company expectations
  • Train, plan, schedule, assign, and direct work; evaluate employee performance and resolve conflicts
  • Control labor costs per MSF
  • Collaborate with maintenance department for PM scheduling
  • Conduct monthly safety tours and meetings
  • Manage machine routing and quoting of new business
  • Represent the company in meetings with customers
  • Handle customer complaints using an interdepartmental approach
  • Maintain and improve daily plant housekeeping standards
  • Develop supervisors for advancement within the company
  • Participate in grievance meetings, labor issues, and employee relations issues
  • Contribute to capital and project spending development
  • Supervise and manage over 190 employees in various units


Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
