Job Summary: Support and manage equipment installation, maintenance, and upgrades for a plating fabrication facility.

Job Requirements:

  • Assist in supporting all equipment installation for the plating fabrication facility
  • Work with the rigging company for equipment installation and placement
  • Collaborate with third-party contractors for utility support (plumbing, wiring, air, etc.)
  • Support day-to-day equipment upkeep needs
  • React, repair, and triage any required process equipment
  • Learn and train on all required protective equipment necessary to support equipment maintenance (plastic welding, mechanical wiring, etc.)
  • Carry out all routine PM activities
  • Establish a process to track and ensure calibration schedules and frequencies
  • Establish onsite schedules with contractors for all PM requirements
  • Manage all required equipment upgrades for installation and utilities
  • Establish an inventory system for all plating fabrication spare parts
  • Catalogue and control all inventory
  • Establish and document all safety training requirements for the equipment technicians
  • Respirator training, PPE, etc.
  • Travel to existing equipment suppliers to oversee equipment builds and identify maintenance requirements

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with wet and dry processes (vertical and horizontal operations)
  • Knowledge of equipment calibration and preventive maintenance
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and protective equipment
  • Inventory management and cataloging skills

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support the installation of equipment in the plating fabrication facility

  • Ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of all process equipment
  • React to and repair any equipment issues as they arise
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance activities
  • Track and manage calibration schedules for equipment
  • Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance with contractors
  • Manage equipment upgrades and installations
  • Establish and maintain an inventory system for spare parts
  • Document and ensure adherence to safety training requirements
  • Travel to suppliers to oversee equipment builds and assess maintenance needs


Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
