Job Summary:

Seeking a Safety Specialist to ensure compliance with safety regulations, implement safety programs, and analyze and mitigate health or safety hazards for operations.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety or related discipline preferred
  • 2-5 years’ experience in manufacturing, engineering, or safety environment preferred
  • Understanding of federal and state regulations (OSHA, MA Department of Safety, NFPA)
  • Advanced written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to train and interact with personnel at all levels
  • Ability to understand, analyze, and resolve technical problems independently
  • Proficient in Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to coordinate and participate on the First Aid team
  • Sensitivity to safety, employee concerns, and business needs
  • Experience working in a combination of office and manufacturing environments

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and raise awareness among employees
  • Implement and monitor safety programs to meet OSHA and other requirements
  • Develop and refine safety programs (e.g., hazard communication, PPE, lockout/tagout, electrical safety)
  • Coordinate and implement safety and accident prevention programs; investigate accidents and recommend corrective actions
  • Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations; advise management and follow up on corrective actions
  • Create, administer, and track health and safety training programs
  • Analyze and mitigate health or safety hazards for operations
  • Stay updated with regulatory changes and update SOPs as needed
  • Assist with emergency response plans, training, and events


Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
