Summary: Develop and manage forecast for long-range planning while considering current materials, lead-time, and manned capacity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain Management

  • Five years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows-based programs, and ERP/MRP systems

  • Proven experience with planning and forecasting

  • APICS certification a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and implement system/process improvements within scheduling

  • Develop existing forecasting tools through innovative ideas/projects

  • Convey and negotiate Master Production Schedule for achievability

  • Review/update forecast and master schedule; establish planning calendar updates monthly

  • Evaluate impact of proposed schedule changes; determine push/pull actions for financial forecast achievability

  • Assist production meetings to assess actual vs. plan; update MPS accordingly

  • Supervise/report actual results against Master Production Schedule

  • Prepare/manage master materials schedule using ERP systems; prepare staffing profiles for schedule achievement

  • Plan/schedule materials availability to support production schedules

  • Support new Sales Orders/Strategic Customer development through cooperative scheduling using Microsoft Project



Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
