Technical Writer
Summary: Seeking a Technical Writer I to prepare and review technical documentation for aircraft modifications and assemblies, ensuring compliance with FAA and customer standards.
Job Requirements:

Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows environment, Internet browser, Email

Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings and technical data
-
Fluency in English (read, write, speak)

Knowledge of technical writing concepts, practices, and procedures
Preferred Skills:
-
Experience documenting modifications to transport category aircraft
-
Familiarity with aircraft technical manuals (AMM, IPC, WDM, CMM) and ATA iSpec 2200 format
-
Basic knowledge of FAA regulations
-
Knowledge of Simplified Technical English

Experience with FrameMaker, Content Management System, Acrobat Pro, Azure DevOps, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, XML, HTML
Job Responsibilities:

Research and review engineering documents to produce accurate customer technical publications
-
Create in-house technical publications such as manuals and standard operating procedures
-
Support internal departments with forms, guides, intranet sites, and manuals
-
Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
-
Assist in improving Technical Publications department processes and tools
Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
