Systems Engineers

Summary: Seeking experienced Systems Engineers for a 12-month contract to support space/missile/aero projects with Redwire Space.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Systems, Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field

• Minimum of 5 years in a systems engineering role within space, missile, or aeronautical operations

• Strong documentation skills including traceability and test plans background

• Ability to manage requirements including review, decomposition, and mapping to testing criteria

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with multi-site collaboration

• Familiarity with NASA or DoD lifecycle reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR)

• Knowledge of requirement tracking tools such as DOORs, Jama, R4J

• Experience with workflow management tools such as Jira

• Prior experience developing space systems for challenging environments

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead technical team through requirements development, testing, verification, and validation processes

• Ensure product development aligns with compliance standards and successful CDR milestone achievement

• Manage Interface Control Documents and coordinate communication across cross-functional teams

• Support the development and refinement of test plans and procedures

Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
