Summary: Seeking a Project Engineer (Seating) to develop engineering design data within budget, provide technical guidance, and ensure compliance with FAA standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft/aerospace engineering design

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD

  • Knowledge of FAA regulations and certification processes

  • Familiarity with standard aircraft components and aviation hardware

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project

Preferred Skills:

  • Master's Degree in Engineering or MBA

  • Experience in commercial aircraft interior payload or monument design

  • FAA Designated Engineering Representative (DER) or ability to establish DER candidacy within 12 months

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and supervision to engineering personnel

  • Develop ZACS statements of work from limited specifications

  • Manage projects, including staffing estimates and accountability

  • Research and review engineering data for efficient modification methods

  • Produce design data for manufacturing, assembly, and installation of modifications

  • Conduct preliminary engineering analysis for substantiation purposes

  • Review design data produced by engineers to ensure compliance with standards

  • Interface with various departments, customers, vendors, and FAA representatives

  • Support manufacturing during production phases

  • Conduct on-site audits and surveys for developing aircraft design concepts

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
