Summary: Seeking a Precision Grinder Operator for 3rd shift to set up, adjust, and operate CNC grinders on precision components in an aerospace job shop environment.

  • Requirements:

    • Able to work 10pm-6am shift Sunday-Thursday with potential for a 6th day.
    • Train on 1st shift (6am-2pm) for the first 1-3 months.
    • Experience with tight tolerances, GD&T, and blueprints.
    • High school diploma or GED.
    • Minimum of 2 years' experience with precision grinders.
    • Ability to adjust feed rates and rotation speeds.
    • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

  • Responsibilities:

    • Set up, adjust, and operate CNC grinders for operations including OD, ID, boring, and facing.
    • Work in a job shop environment with runs of 50-100 pieces and setups lasting from 2-8 hours.
    • Machine and install or recut jaws as required.
    • Verify parts using gauges and measuring devices.
    • Operate within a cell containing multiple machines.


Pay Details: $23.00 to $30.00 per hour
