Summary: Seeking a Product Development Engineer with expertise in mechanical, materials science, or chemical engineering to lead technical activities in automotive product development.

  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering
    • Five to eight years of product/process engineering experience
    • Hands-on experience with production and lab equipment

  • Preferred Skills:

    • Master of Science degree
    • Six Sigma greenbelt certification
    • Knowledge of magnet wire products and applications
    • Familiarity with APQP and project management

  • Responsibilities:

    • Lead technical activities for automotive product development projects
    • Plan and organize project activities from Phase 0 to Phase 5
    • Translate customer requirements into specifications and testing activities
    • Conduct DFMEAs, identify risks, and engineer risk mitigation strategies
    • Identify validation and verification activities for design needs
    • Lead internal design reviews and present findings in customer design reviews
    • Practice lean and six sigma methodologies in design processes


Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
