Responsible for managing the engineering staff overseeing custom equipment design and production for the metal casting industry.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering – required
  • 5-8 years of mechanical engineering experience – required
  • Prior management experience – preferred
  • Experience with product design and development
  • Experience with foundry processes – a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with ERP systems; SAP experience – a plus
  • Authorized to work in the US and able to pass a background check
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk for extended periods, navigate stairs, and work in congested spaces

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects and workload of mechanical and electrical engineering teams from design to installation
  • Establish and enforce work instructions and standard operating procedures
  • Review accuracy and feasibility of drawing and bill of material releases
  • Develop engineering and design solutions across applications, electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and safety
  • Utilize SolidWorks, SolidWorks PDM, AutoCAD, and other design tools to optimize efficiency
  • Maintain documentation for clarity, accountability, and knowledge retention
  • Collaborate with production management to ensure quality and on-time delivery
  • Provide application engineering support and cost projections for sales
  • Offer technical support for service departments and direct customer interactions
  • Conduct research and development for new products
  • Implement standardization and modularization of product lines
  • Conduct cost analysis for profitability and pricing strategies
  • Some travel required (up to 10%)
  • Direct customer interaction as needed


Pay Details: $105,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
