Summary: Seeking an Operations Supervisor with experience in warehouse management, safety, and quality control to oversee plant operations and workforce productivity.

Job Requirements:

  • 3-5 years supervisory experience in a warehouse setting

  • Knowledge of various employment laws (e.g., OHSA) and government regulations (e.g., DOT)

  • Knowledge of all warehouse machine and equipment operations

  • Basic knowledge in AUTOCAD, mechanical, electrical, hydraulics a plus

  • Knowledge in oxy fuel cutting, plasma cutting, laser cutting a plus (plate processing) and blueprint reading

  • Certifications in training obtained (e.g. forklift, crane, first aid) a plus

  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in a team-focused environment

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage workforce in safety, productivity, warehousing, quality, and housekeeping using established procedures and processes

  • Direct efficient function of plant operations for assigned shift

  • Understand production goals and implement actions to meet objectives

  • Supervise filling of time-sensitive orders and coordinate shipments

  • Ensure on-time deliveries and error-free shipments

  • Provide leadership to direct reports; coach and counsel employees

  • Provide daily reporting

  • Facilitate problem-solving team-building activities

  • Support company policy, goals, and objectives

  • Implement actions to meet quality goals

  • Oversee training completion

  • Communicate with other departments within the facility as well as other locations

  • Understand customer requirements; advise on material suitability and processing capabilities

  • Provide direction in safe work practices; support safety goals

  • Review unsafe conditions; ensure corrective actions are carried out to eliminate workplace hazards



Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $62,000.00 per year
