Summary: Seeking a proactive Workforce Development Director with a solid grasp of industry needs and effective communication skills to shape our talent pipeline and drive workforce initiatives.

Job Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of workforce development practices, systems, and program design

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Ability to evaluate and research training options creatively

  • Solid grasp of relevant industries

  • Bachelor's degree in management, Human Resources, or related field

  • 2 years of experience as a Training Manager/Facilitator or in a similar role focusing on learning and development in the industrial trade sector

  • Willingness to travel for work

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of registered apprenticeships

  • Experience in developing industrial training programs

Job Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate positive, long-term relationships with educational institutions, industry influencers, and community stakeholders

  • Develop outreach and engagement strategies that align with evolving industry needs

  • Lead on workforce development projects including coordinating activities and marketing training initiatives

  • Seek out additional funding opportunities for groundbreaking workforce solutions and programs.



Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
