CNC machinist
Responsible for machining steel alloy components for hydraulic pistons using 3 & 4 axis milling and lathe equipment.
Job Requirements
- Experience operating and programming 3 & 4 axis milling machines and lathes
- Knowledge of machining steel alloys, particularly for hydraulic piston components
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Proficiency in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Experience setting up and troubleshooting CNC machines for optimal performance
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with CNC programming and G-code interpretation
- Experience in precision machining with tight tolerances
- Understanding of tooling selection and maintenance for steel alloy machining
- Background in manufacturing or machining hydraulic components
Job Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain CNC milling and lathe machines for precision machining
- Set up machines, adjust tool offsets, and perform quality checks on finished parts
- Ensure components meet specifications by conducting inspections and measurements
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments to optimize production
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
No degree required. Preference for candidates from the region.
Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
