Manufacturing Engineer
Responsible for overseeing the setup, commissioning, and optimization of CNC machining operations for steel alloy hydraulic piston components, ensuring efficient production from raw materials to finished products.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Experience working in a CNC machining manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with steel alloys and machining processes for hydraulic piston components.
- Experience managing projects from raw materials through to finished products.
- Hands-on experience on the shop floor, working directly with CNC programmers and machinists.
- Understanding of equipment placement on the shop floor to optimize workflow and productivity.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in commissioning and setting up CNC machines.
- Knowledge of industrial engineering principles for optimizing manufacturing layouts.
- Ability to troubleshoot machining processes and improve production efficiency.
- Strong understanding of materials handling, tooling, and cutting parameters for steel alloys.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage projects involving CNC machined parts from raw materials to final products.
- Oversee the setup, commissioning, and startup of new CNC machines.
- Collaborate with CNC programmers and machinists to ensure efficient part production.
- Provide input on shop floor layouts, optimizing machine placement to improve workflow and reduce cycle times.
- Ensure quality control processes are followed for hydraulic piston components.
- Identify opportunities to improve machining processes and reduce production costs.
- Troubleshoot issues on the shop floor and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor production output and ensure that parts are delivered on time and meet customer specifications.
Pay Details: $45.00 to $50.00 per hour
