CNC Programmer mastercam
Seeking a CNC Programmer/Machinist to handle 5-axis CNC programming, machine operation, training, and inspection, using Mastercam as the primary CAM software.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop efficient CNC programs for 5-axis machining operations using Mastercam.
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering specifications.
- Inspect finished parts using a combination of machine probe and manual measurement techniques to ensure quality standards.
- Maintain and manage the CNC work center to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
- Serve as the technical point of contact for troubleshooting machining issues.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC programming and machining.
- Proficiency in 5-axis CNC programming and operation.
- Experience with CMM inspection tools and processes.
- Strong knowledge of machining principles, tooling, and materials.
- Proficient with CAD/CAM software, including Mastercam and SolidWorks.
- Familiarity with GD&T standards (ASME Y14.5 – 1994, 2009, 2018).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with composite materials.
- Ability to lead training initiatives and improve machining workflows.
Pay Details: $50.00 to $55.00 per hour
