Summary: Seeking a CMM Programmer/Quality Inspector to develop and modify inspection processes ensuring conformance to specifications, with proficiency in various inspection equipment and strong CMM knowledge.

  • Develop and modify inspection processes for raw material and secondary operations

  • Inspect high value, complex, tightly tolerance parts using mechanical and computerized equipment

  • Document inspection methods clearly

  • Identify and use alternative inspection techniques

  • Utilize statistical techniques for process improvement

  • Write and update incoming inspection methods

  • Collaborate with engineers to setup inspection instructions for new parts

  • Determine proper disposition of rejected material

  • Communicate supplier quality issues and track corrective actions

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software

  • Ability to program CMMs, preferably using Zeiss CMM with Calypso software

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
