Facilities & Maintenance Manager
Summary: Seeking a Maintenance & Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance department, ensuring reliability and safety of all plant equipment and utilities.
Job Requirements:
HS Diploma or GED
5-10 years of industrial maintenance supervisory experience
Completed training in shop practices and OSHA compliance
Preferred Skills:
Technical School or College education beyond high school
Knowledge of industrial facilities and aerospace manufacturing maintenance requirements
Experience with large mechanical & hydraulic presses and/or controls
Robust knowledge of safety procedures
Proven success with preventative maintenance processes
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Union experience preferred
Job Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, coordinate, and control maintenance department activities
Ensure facility and production equipment are maintained for schedule adherence
Establish preventive maintenance systems for all equipment
Maintain inventory of spare parts for repairs and scheduled maintenance
Manage a maintenance budget covering facilities and production equipment costs
Lead salaried and hourly maintenance employees; provide coaching, counseling, training
Ensure employees are fully qualified in their job classifications
Enforce safety policies; respond to hazards timely
Evaluate equipment availability losses due to maintenance downtime
Participate on plant Safety Committee
Provide technical/regulatory consultation on industrial hygiene/safety issues
Conduct periodic compliance inspections (OSHA, Codes, NFPA)
Pay: 135000-145000

Pay Details: $135,000.00 to $145,000.00 per year
