2nd Shift PLC maintenance
Job Summary:
2nd shift position responsible for maintaining and servicing mechanical equipment and components, with a strong focus on electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC automation machines.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Siemens, Rockwell, and Allen Bradley PLC controllers.
- Experience in troubleshooting and performing maintenance on manufacturing machinery, including electronics (12VDC-460 VAC), hydraulics, pneumatics, motor starters, and pumps.
- Proficiency in reading pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric schematics.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting safety circuits.
- Familiarity with VFD (Variable Frequency Drives) and Servo Drives.
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience with vision systems or barcode scanners.
- Ability to troubleshoot and modify the positions of ABB, Motoman, Fanuc, and Universal robots.
- Experience in rebuilding parts or cross-referencing parts.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain, service, and repair industrial assembly equipment, including pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot issues both physically and electronically via PLC or program investigation.
- Conduct skilled repairs of mechanical, electrical, and building systems and equipment.
- Perform periodic inspections to evaluate requests for repair and determine necessary parts for replacement, placing orders as needed.
- Connect and troubleshoot vision systems or barcode scanners.
- Modify and troubleshoot the positions of various robotic systems as required.
Pay Details: $40.00 to $42.00 per hour
