Flight Telemetry Test Engineer
Summary: Seeking a Flight Test Instrumentation and Telemetry Engineer to support telemetry data acquisition and flight test instrumentation team activities.
Job Requirements:
-
Experience in JAVA and Python languages
-
Practical knowledge of flight test instrumentation hardware/software design, maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting

Associate degree in electronic engineering with 5 years' experience or Bachelor's degree in related subject
Preferred Skills:
-
Experimental flight test experience in data acquisition
-
Knowledge of IADS tools and techniques
-
Familiarity with aircraft instrumentation and databus protocols

Computer programming exposure (Python, MATLAB, JavaScript, C++)
-
Knowledge of ACRA and Curtiss Wright products
Job Responsibilities:
-
Support real-time data acquisition, telemetry station configuration, quick data processing and analysis for flight tests

Process, transfer, and archive A/C test data with FTE Information Technology, ICT, and Data Analysis Group coordination

Design, plan, build, test instrumentation systems for flight test projects to meet certification requirements

Maintain configuration files for calibrations, sensor installations to ensure reliability and data control

Develop and program the Data Acquisition System using ACRA Control
Pay Details: $60.00 to $75.00 per hour
