CNC Machinist

Summary: Seeking a CNC Machinist for first shift to perform setup and operation of 3-5 axis CNC milling and turning machines, ensuring quality and efficiency in manufacturing processes.

Job Requirements:

• 5 years experience setting up and operating 3-5 axis CNC milling and/or turning machines

• Ability to read technical drawings

• Understanding of GD&T

• Experience using measuring tools and gages

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Siemens and/or Heidenhain controls

• Experience with Deckel Maho Gildemeister (DMG) machines

Job Responsibilities:

• Actively engage in Continuous Improvement activities

• Retrieve job-related information such as job routings, part drawings, tool lists, work instructions, and in-process inspection sheets

• Complete change-over activities from previous job set-up to new job set-up

• Manufacture parts per process instruction and required quantity

• Inspect raw materials for dimensions, quantity, defects, and certifications

• Document manufactured quantities using ERP system

• Inspect parts according to in-process inspection sheet requirements

• Collaborate with the Engineering department to improve machining processes

• Sign off work orders using ERP system

• Maintain a clean and orderly work area following prescribed safety procedures

• Provide end-of-shift report detailing shift activities

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
