CNC Machinist
Summary: Seeking a CNC Machinist for first shift to perform setup and operation of 3-5 axis CNC milling and turning machines, ensuring quality and efficiency in manufacturing processes.
Job Requirements:
-
5 years experience setting up and operating 3-5 axis CNC milling and/or turning machines

Ability to read technical drawings
-
Understanding of GD&T

Experience using measuring tools and gages
Preferred Skills:
-
Experience with Siemens and/or Heidenhain controls
-
Experience with Deckel Maho Gildemeister (DMG) machines
Job Responsibilities:
-
Actively engage in Continuous Improvement activities
-
Retrieve job-related information such as job routings, part drawings, tool lists, work instructions, and in-process inspection sheets

Complete change-over activities from previous job set-up to new job set-up

Manufacture parts per process instruction and required quantity

Inspect raw materials for dimensions, quantity, defects, and certifications
-
Document manufactured quantities using ERP system

Inspect parts according to in-process inspection sheet requirements

Collaborate with the Engineering department to improve machining processes
-
Sign off work orders using ERP system
-
Maintain a clean and orderly work area following prescribed safety procedures

Provide end-of-shift report detailing shift activities
Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
