CNC Milling Machinist
Summary: Seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist with extensive experience in aerospace metals and multi-axis milling machining.
Job Requirements:
7-10 years of CNC Milling machining experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace.
Proficiency in reading and understanding work instructions, fixture alignment, tooling info, and part loading instructions.
Experience with Fanuc computer controls.
Ability to pick up worksheets and tram tools to run true.
Knowledge of cutter compensation and making correct offset adjustments.
Capability to select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and tool holders for various jobs.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with geometric tolerances and principles (GD&T).
Ability to read and interpret engineering instructions, travelers, and blueprints.
Job Responsibilities:
Set-up and operate CNC 5 and multi-axis milling machining centers according to engineering specifications.
Run similar jobs of short cycle times for extended periods where manufacturing processes are stable.
Operate more than one machine at a time depending on job complexity.
Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
