Swiss Machinist

Summary: Seeking experienced Swiss Machinists for 1st and 2nd shift roles, responsible for setting up and operating Swiss machines to produce precision parts in compliance with quality management systems.

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to understand and adhere to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and AS9100 Quality Management System Processes.

• Capable of training on and learning to operate Swiss machines according to job requirements.

• Ability to work from job travelers, manufacturing drawings, tool drawings, and sketches.

• Proficient in using comparators, gages, and other measuring devices for quality checks.

• Responsible for machine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in setting up Swiss machines.

• Familiarity with the operation of Swiss machines producing parts meeting specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Start and stop machines as needed during the production process.

• Load stock material into machines and install necessary tools for machining tasks.

• Monitor dimensions and quality of machined parts through regular inspections.

• Maintain cleanliness of the machine area by removing scrap and chips after machining processes.

• Efficiently handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-paced work environment.

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour
