Satellite Platform Electrical Systems Engineer

Summary: Seeking Satellite Platform Electrical Systems Engineers to provide expertise in power and data interfaces for telecommunications satellites.

• Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in electrical engineering
  • 5+ years experience with system-level electrical power generation, storage, and distribution for satellite/space systems
  • Experience with electronic unit designs, wiring harnesses, data bus protocol standards, and system-level testing for space/satellite systems

• Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to pass a drug and background check (ITAR compliance)

• Responsibilities:

  • Manage electrical interface control documentation for power, analog, digital & RF connections
  • Support electrical analyses, budgets & design details related to power systems
  • Perform failure modes & effects analyses; support failure detection, isolation & recovery activities
  • Prepare total dose & single event effects ionizing radiation analyses
  • Write systems engineering documentation including requirements specifications and design descriptions
  • Support satellite development activities including concept of operations and Payload integration

Pay Details: $58.00 to $78.00 per hour
