Summary: Seeking a highly skilled Satellite Ground Systems Engineer to lead the implementation, commissioning, testing, and execution of Medium Earth Orbit (MEO) Satellite Ground Stations globally.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Telecommunications, or related field; Master's degree is a plus

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in satellite ground systems development

  • Expertise in Radio Frequency measurement, ground station testing, and auxiliary systems like IP networks, power, and HVAC

  • Familiarity with GEO/MEO/LEO Satellite Ground Systems

  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, MS Project, and Linux

  • Relevant certifications in satellite systems engineering preferred

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to represent as an expert in satellite and terrestrial ground engineering field

  • Capable of obtaining and maintaining high-level security clearance

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead implementation, commissioning, and testing of MEO Satellite Ground Station projects globally

  • Plan site facility infrastructure including IT infrastructure as required

  • Perform transmission analysis and design drawing

  • Generate Request for Proposal Documents

  • Lead ground system integration, testing, operational validation including factory/site acceptance tests

  • Develop tools/scripts required for end-to-end system verification at a gateway site

  • Deliver all system documentation such as procedures and troubleshooting guides

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards/regulations

  • Provide technical support across all sites to Site Implementation managers

  • Manage technical/operational gateway site readiness

  • Prepare site for installation working closely with subsystem owners



Pay Details: $47.00 to $63.00 per hour
