Product Design Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Product Design Engineer with expertise in SolidWorks, injection molding, and experience in golf or consumer product industries.

• Requirements:

  • BSME or Manufacturing degree
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing/engineering
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks
  • Experience with injection and compression molding, casting, forging, forming, and machining

• Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of consumer goods and the golf/sporting goods industry

• Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from prototype through production phases
  • Coordinate tooling, prototypes, first articles; oversee evaluation through manufacturing/testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design, Development, Marketing, and Asia Manufacturing teams
  • Ensure accurate documentation/specifications for new product designs/manufacturing processes
  • Transfer engineering drawings to suppliers/stakeholders as needed
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing failures using engineering problem-solving techniques

Pay Details: $38.00 to $51.00 per hour
