Summary: Seeking a Structural Mechanic IV with expertise in structural assembly, blueprint interpretation, and use of specialized tools for aircraft fabrication and repair.

  • Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • 6 years related structural assembly experience
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
    • Skilled in close tolerance work with special tools and equipment
    • Proficient in using mathematical formulas for dimensional problems
    • Knowledgeable in the use of multiple measuring devices
  • Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with Solumnia and Smarteam
    • Q-stamp certification
    • Good working knowledge of computers and related software
  • Responsibilities:

    • Assemble and fit detail parts and structures; perform drilling and riveting operations
    • Use schematics, engineering drawings, technical instructions for layout, fabrication, installation on aircraft
    • Coordinate with supervision/inspection for compliance with FAA paperwork/sign-offs/quality specs
    • Rivet structural assemblies using required tools; remove fasteners without damaging structures
    • Read work orders/blueprints to determine operation sequences, rivet specifications, cut/form plastics; follow SOPs for adhesives/sealants/solvents
    • Align/assemble parts using jigs/clamps; make repairs per DMT/MRR/PCO ensuring conformity


Pay Details: $20.00 to $29.00 per hour
