Structural Mech II (3859)

Summary: Seeking a Structural Mechanic II to assemble and fit detail parts and structures, ensuring precise and defect-free assemblies.

• Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, 6" scale, and perform basic shop math

• Preferred Skills:

  • 1 year of related structural assembly experience preferred
  • Experience with Solumina and Smarteam is a plus
  • Graduates of the Savannah Tech Aircraft Structures Technical Certificate Program may receive one year of experience credit

• Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and fit detail parts and structures with precision
  • Perform varied drilling and riveting tasks using appropriate tools
  • Follow blueprints, work orders, and sketches for operations sequence
  • Inspect all work for defects prior to final inspection
  • Keep accurate logs such as MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, and PCOs
  • Align parts using jigs, clamps, pins, and fasteners
  • Maintain a clean work area in compliance with the company's 5S Program

Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
