Summary: Seeking a Technician II with expertise in 3D scanning, CAD software, and automotive interior testing for R&D projects.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or higher in Automotive Technology, Engineering, or related field

  • Experience with 3D scanning technology and software (e.g., Romer/Polyworks, FARO, Artec, Geomagic)

  • Proficiency in CAD software such as CATIA V5/V6

  • Experience in interior performance testing and capacity measurement

  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of automotive design and manufacturing processes

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct 3D scans of automotive interiors and exteriors

  • Process scan data to create digital models

  • Design and build test fixtures

  • Perform interior performance testing and measurements

  • Collaborate with engineers to integrate data into R&D projects

  • Maintain and calibrate scanning equipment

  • Document procedures, test results, ensuring data accuracy

  • Assist in developing scanning techniques and testing methods

  • Perform light hand-work tasks to support R&D activities

  • Troubleshoot technical issues with scanning equipment/software

  • Ensure compliance with safety/quality standards in lab environment



Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
