Summary: Seeking a Systems Engineer to define user terminal systems architectures and perform analysis and design tradeoffs for telecommunication systems.

Requirements:

  • BS or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years in SW/HW development environment with recent experience in architectural/system role
  • Experience with RF, digital communication, and communication theory
  • Experience in development for complex telecommunication/satellite communication systems
  • Proficiency with formal requirement tools (Jama, Jira, Doors)
  • Programming skills in Matlab/Python and C/C++
  • Experience in computer networks and TCP/IP

Preferred Skills:

  • Master/PhD degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
  • Familiarity with satellite communication theory
  • Knowledge of phased array designs and implementations
  • Satellite over-the-air communication field-trial experience

Responsibilities:

  • Define UT systems architectures/sub-systems requirements using industry-standard methodologies
  • Conduct analysis and design tradeoffs of various UT architectures including RF simulations
  • Analyze and design tradeoffs of Ku and Ka band phased array chipsets and antennas


Pay Details: $70.00 to $75.00 per hour
