Summary: Seeking an Electrical Engineer with expertise in industrial machine controls, PLC programming, and AutoCAD proficiency for custom project development and execution.

Requirements:

  • BSEE/BSEET degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in custom industrial machine controls and programming
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD
  • Experience with PLC programming (AB or Siemens)
  • Reside within a 60-mile radius of Huntersville, NC

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in creating cabinet/panel drawings, BOMs, schematics, one-line diagrams, PI&D diagrams
  • Ability to select and size electrical components such as circuit breakers, fuses, cables, and wires
  • Knowledge in selecting and integrating safety components (safety relays, safety PLCs)
  • Familiarity with HMI hardware selection and programming
  • Competence in vision system hardware selection and programming (Cognex, Keyence, Banner)
  • Skill in selecting and programming stepper/servo motors and controller hardware

Responsibilities:

  • Interface with Mechanical Engineers, Project Manager(s), and customers throughout the project lifecycle
  • Assist in concept development and pricing for proposals
  • Conduct supplier evaluations, risk assessments, and customer presentations
  • Ensure total quality of products
  • Assist with CAPAs and process improvement activities


Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
