Summary: Seeking a Senior Satellite Systems Engineer with extensive experience in communications systems theory, RF/microwave engineering, and satellite system architectures.

Requirements:

  • BSEE in electrical engineering focused on signal analyses and RF/microwave engineering
  • 15+ years in communications systems theory and analysis
  • 5+ years using analytical and modeling skills for LEO/MEO/GEO systems

Preferred Skills:

  • MSEE in signal analyses and RF/microwave engineering
  • Familiarity with 5G NR-NTN standards
  • Knowledge of satellite system architectures (LEO, GEO, MEO)
  • Familiarity with ITU-R and FCC regulations related to satellites
  • Understanding of DVB-S2X and other wireless standards

Responsibilities:

  • Review and refine system-level requirements for satellite systems
  • Analyze, model, and simulate candidate designs
  • Develop algorithms for power control, timing, and frequency synchronization
  • Write and review specifications, design documents, reports, and presentations


Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $180,000.00 per year
