Summary: Seeking an experienced Senior Machinist for 3rd shift to operate CNC machines and contribute to lean initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with lathes, mills, Okuma, Nakamura, and Haas machines.
  • Experience with 5-axis and turret operations.
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints, specifications, and verbal instructions.
  • Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics including trigonometry.

Preferred Skills:

  • Aerospace experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and run production machines; perform operations such as cutting, shaping, deburring.
  • Make necessary machine adjustments; report improper functioning for correction.
  • Perform tapping, spot-facing, chamfering to close tolerances.
  • Align and fasten parts using standard fixtures; adjust feeds and speeds for quality machining.
  • Inspect parts using measuring instruments; maintain equipment cleanliness and reliability.
  • Participate in lean initiatives; apply lean concepts in work area.


Pay Details: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour
