Summary: Seeking a Senior Machinist for 2nd shift with expertise in CNC operations, particularly on lathes and mills, to contribute to productivity and cost reduction initiatives.

  • Requirements:

    • Minimum 5 years experience with CNC machines including Okuma, Nakamura, and Haas.
    • Proficiency in operating 5-axis and turret machines.
    • Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and follow verbal instructions.
    • Knowledge of machine shop mathematics, potentially including trigonometry.
  • Preferred Skills:

    • Aerospace industry experience.
  • Responsibilities:

    • Set up and operate production machines from blueprints or sketches.
    • Perform machine operations such as cutting, shaping, and drilling parts.
    • Inspect parts using measuring instruments for conformance to specifications.
    • Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform statistical process control tasks.
    • Participate in lean initiatives by suggesting improvements.


Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
