Summary: Seeking a Firmware Engineer with expertise in process manufacturing, automation engineering, and PLC programming for a 6-month project.

  • Requirements:

    • BS Degree in Engineering (Mechatronics, Electrical or related field)
    • 7+ years of experience in process manufacturing or automation engineering
    • Proficiency with DCS and PLC programming (Rockwell, Siemens S7)
    • Experience with PLC communication protocols (Profibus, ProfNet)
    • Strong troubleshooting skills in automation and control systems
    • Experience with AutoCAD Inventor for mechanical systems development

  • Preferred Skills:

    • Programming robotics using lab scheduling software (Green Button Go, Overlord)
    • Knowledge of AC/DC controls, motors, drives, and HMI development
    • Familiarity with lab robotics such as Precise Flex Arm and Brooks

  • Responsibilities:

    • Lead automation projects including enhancement of PLCs and HMIs


Pay Details: $50.00 to $60.00 per hour
