Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and oversee mechanical systems for complex manufacturing facilities, focusing on HVAC, piping, and infrastructure integration.

  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET Accredited University
    • Seven or more years of experience in mechanical facilities engineering
    • Five or more years of experience with semiconductor manufacturing tools
    • Proficient in AutoCAD software
    • VT PE license
  • Preferred Skills:

    • Understanding of design project delivery processes with five years of experience
    • Two years field experience
  • Responsibilities:

    • Establish design requirements and produce construction documents for complex manufacturing tools and facilities infrastructure
    • Design and oversee piping and ducting for equipment heating, cooling, exhaust, and process chemicals and gases
    • Lead additional mechanical staff as needed
    • Collaborate with design staff, client equipment owners, researchers, and manufacturers to develop utility requirement documents
    • Provide technical training, quality check designs, and assist with complex portions of the design process


Pay Details: $36.00 to $48.00 per hour
