Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineering Manager with expertise in high-pressure die casting (HPDC) for overseeing equipment maintenance and leading engineering teams in the automotive manufacturing industry.

Requirements:

  • US Citizenship required
  • Minimum of 5 years automotive engineering experience, including supervision
  • Minimum 5 years production level HPDC experience
  • Understanding of robotic function and automated HPDC interactions
  • Experience developing and implementing SOPs

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to work in Shelbyville, Kentucky and Metro Detroit
  • Remote work flexibility within reason

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance to Mechanical Engineering & Design teams
  • Build and manage a team for implementing tasks
  • Oversee resources budgeting, allocation, review, and approval
  • Track projects and progress through regular reviews
  • Develop control systems to measure progress and solve technical problems
  • Participate in product architecture and feasibility technical reviews
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Organize and supervise maintenance staff, delegate responsibilities


Pay Details: $145,000.00 to $165,000.00 per year
