Electrical Designer

Summary: Seeking an Electrical Designer with expertise in AutoCAD, controls design, and NEC knowledge for developing electrical systems and documentation.

• Requirements:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical
  • Experience in controls design
  • Familiarity with NEC and UL guidelines
  • Knowledge of motor controls (DC/AC) and blueprint interpretation

• Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with overhead crane control systems
  • Familiarity with VFDs

• Responsibilities:

  • Develop drawings and documentation for projects
  • Manage multiple projects with varying technologies and deadlines
  • Assist in training control panel assembly technicians and apprentices
  • Organize project components and maintain panel shop inventory
  • Provide material lists to the purchasing manager per job requirements
  • Complete schematic, wiring diagrams, panel layout diagrams, festoon/E-Chain designs, pendant assembly diagrams, runway conductor reviews, and as-built drawings

Pay Details: $29.00 to $39.00 per hour
