Summary: Seeking a Systems Engineer to lead and support requirements development, system architecture, and design documentation for defense projects.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience

  • Experience in systems engineering, including requirements evaluation and allocation

  • Proficiency in developing architecture concepts and evaluating alternatives

  • Knowledge of balancing system design with CONOPS, performance, constraints, and logistics

  • Ability to plan, conduct, and document complex trade studies

  • Experience generating System/Subsystem Design Descriptions per program requirements

  • Logical architecture experience with use case development

  • Proficiency in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using SysML and tools like Cameo

  • Familiarity with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF)

  • Experience with DOORS requirements management tool

  • INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification required

Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead or assist in requirements development and management

  • Develop subsystem/component performance specifications by evaluating necessary requirements

  • Maintain requirements verification and compliance artifacts

  • Support analysis for concept architectures and system characteristics development

  • Facilitate architecture development of assigned systems/subsystems/components

  • Drive interface requirements/design information for subsystems/systems/components

  • Document concept design selections; generate System/Subsystem Design Descriptions (SSDDs)

  • Coordinate formal decisions/trade studies; document results

  • Support cost, schedule, risk monitoring/actualization

  • Influence design through coordinating Systems Engineering activities

  • Participate in vehicle-level Systems Engineering activities/program milestone reviews



Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
