Summary: Seeking experienced Welder II for a 12+ month project requiring expertise in GMAW of aluminum or carbon steel.

  • Requirements:

    • Successfully pass weld qualifications in both steel and aluminum
    • Knowledge and application of WPS and use of weld gauges
    • Ability to apply shop math, read blueprints, and calculate dimensions
    • Understand work orders, machine controls, settings, fixtures, and tool requirements
    • Hold and maneuver weld torch; operate foot and hand controls
    • Lift 32 pounds and apply 32 pounds of torque to ratchets
    • Minimum of 5 years welding experience in GMAW of aluminum or carbon steel
    • High school diploma or GED with technical training in welding
  • Responsibilities:

    • Work safely within a team environment following all safety policies
    • Load/unload parts onto weld tables using appropriate tools
    • Check parts against quality specifications; troubleshoot issues
    • Use hoist, pallet jacks, or forklift for moving materials
    • Complete paperwork for work orders, labor/time reporting, quality records


Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
