Summary: Seeking a Structural Mechanic II to assemble and fit detail parts and structures, ensuring defect-free assembly and adherence to blueprints.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and perform basic shop math

Preferred Skills:

  • 1 year of related structural assembly experience
  • Familiarity with Solumina and Smarteam
  • Graduates of Savannah Tech Aircraft Structures Technical Certificate Program may receive experience credit

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and fit detail parts using various tools for drilling and riveting
  • Follow work orders to determine operation sequence, rivet size, and hole patterns
  • Inspect work for defects before final inspection
  • Maintain accurate logs such as MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, and PCOs
  • Align parts using jigs, clamps, pins, and fasteners
  • Maintain a clean work area in line with the company's 5S Program


Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
