Embedded Controls Engineer
Summary: Seeking an Embedded Controls Engineer with expertise in automotive and embedded systems for a six-month project.

Requirements:
- 6+ years of engineering experience
- BS or MS in Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Mechatronic Systems
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow
- Experience with development software and tools for embedded systems

Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with MotoTron/MotoHawk, Raptor, OpenECU, dSPACE MABX
- Proficient with CAN Tools such as Vector CANape, Vector CANalyzer, Kvaser CanKing
- Vehicle level simulation using CarSim/TruckSim and ADAMS/Dymola
- Knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, LIN, Wireless 802.11, DSRC) - Understanding of electric and hybrid vehicle architecture - Experience in electrical/mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic system design and simulation - Autonomous and by-wire design expertise
- Responsibilities:
- Develop controls for automotive applications and actuators
- Troubleshoot vehicle and system issues
- Perform data acquisition hardware and software tasks
Pay Details: $75.00 to $85.00 per hour
