Avionics/Elec Tech II – 2nd Shift
Summary: Seeking an Avionics/Electronics Technician II for 2nd shift to perform installation, testing, and troubleshooting of aircraft electrical systems.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Four years of experience in avionics/electrical field or two years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics with two years related experience
Preferred Skills:
- A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license
- FCC certification
- NCATT certification
- Proficiency in other aircraft systems such as hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls
Responsibilities:
- Perform operational testing and troubleshooting of avionics and aircraft systems
- Install and functionally test electrical/avionics components per specifications
- Ensure quality and efficiency of installations; repair defective components
- Use effective repair techniques including splicing, soldering, pinning of wiring
- Set up and operate test equipment; conduct functional tests to evaluate performance
Pay Details: $25.00 to $29.00 per hour
