Aircraft Tech II (3709) Weekend Nights x3
Seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician responsible for performing complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications while ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and internal quality standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications with minimal supervision.
- Coordinate with MTL, STM, and Inspection Department to ensure compliance with FAA and internal documentation requirements.
- Complete CMP cards, work order sign-offs, and other paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.
- Identify and properly tag customer property and securely store aircraft components.
- Operate ground support equipment (power carts, hydraulic mules, lift platforms, tow tugs, forklifts, etc.) following standard operating procedures.
- Assist with aircraft movement in hangar and ramp areas.
- Collect and properly dispose of waste fuel, oil, hydraulic fluids, de-icing fluids, and solvent rags.
- Apply 6S and Lean Initiatives to maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Use the material tracking system to create parts demands, track squawks, record sign-offs, and charge labor to work orders.
- Implement continuous improvement processes in daily operations.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate with 2 years of aviation maintenance experience OR 4 years of aviation maintenance experience, including 2 years working on mid/large-size aircraft.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Working knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, Repair Station and Quality Control manuals, and company policies and procedures.
Pay Details: $25.00 to $29.00 per hour
