Supplier Quality Specialist
Summary: Seeking a Supplier Quality Specialist to collaborate with cross-functional teams for quality assurance and product delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering or similar technical field with 4 years of experience; or Graduate Degree with 2 years of experience
- Familiarity with Statistical Process Control techniques and Metrology
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and Product Specifications
- Strong problem-solving and Root Cause analysis skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in machining and inspecting parts from large aluminum castings
- Skilled in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Six Sigma certification (Green Belt, Yellow Belt, or Black Belt)
- Familiarity with Coordinate Measuring Machine functions
- Experience conducting Gage R&R studies
- Knowledge/experience in lean concepts
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Product Support Engineering to address non-conformances
- Develop and train inspectors on Quality Inspection Documents
- Prepare reports on company metrics; support QA work instruction development
- Coordinate continuous improvement efforts for product quality enhancement
- Support metrology-related activities including risk assessments
Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
