Cabinet Finisher II - Weekend Days
Summary: Seeking a skilled Cabinet Finisher II for weekend shifts to prepare and finish aircraft furniture using various techniques and tools.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Two years experience in wood finishing
- Basic knowledge of cabinet finishing processes and products
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the aerospace industry
- Working knowledge of Gulfstream inspection and process specifications
Responsibilities:
- Prepare furniture for finish and disassembly using blueprints, specifications, and drawings
- Perform high-quality repairs to finished surfaces in the shop and on aircraft
- Clean and polish blemishes to prepare aircraft for delivery
- Apply finish using spray equipment and manual/mechanical methods
- Use sandpapers, polishes, adhesives, masking mediums, solvents, hand tools, and power tools for finishing tasks
- Comply with safety, housekeeping policies; use protective equipment as needed
- Utilize material tracking system for parts demand, squawk tracking, and work sign-off
Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
