Aircraft Painter I - 2nd Shift
Summary: Seeking an Aircraft Painter I for the 2nd shift to prepare and paint aircraft, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1 year painting experience
- Knowledge of paint processes and products (lacquers, enamels, epoxies, urethanes, acrylics)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation
- Able to pass Pulmonary Function Test for respirator certification
- Ability to use tools, equipment, and materials in the aircraft painting process
Responsibilities:
- Mask, sand, and prepare aircraft for paint application
- Apply glazing and sealing compounds for final painting
- Operate and maintain preparation and priming equipment
- Mix paints and primers
- Perform leading edge sealant work in final detail
- Comply with safety, housekeeping policies, use personal protective equipment
- Maintain shop equipment and tools as assigned
Pay Details: $18.00 to $23.00 per hour
