Aircraft Painter I - 2nd Shift

Summary: Seeking an Aircraft Painter I for the 2nd shift to prepare and paint aircraft, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

• Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1 year painting experience
  • Knowledge of paint processes and products (lacquers, enamels, epoxies, urethanes, acrylics)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation
  • Able to pass Pulmonary Function Test for respirator certification
  • Ability to use tools, equipment, and materials in the aircraft painting process

• Responsibilities:

  • Mask, sand, and prepare aircraft for paint application
  • Apply glazing and sealing compounds for final painting
  • Operate and maintain preparation and priming equipment
  • Mix paints and primers
  • Perform leading edge sealant work in final detail
  • Comply with safety, housekeeping policies, use personal protective equipment
  • Maintain shop equipment and tools as assigned

Pay Details: $18.00 to $23.00 per hour
