Summary: Seeking an experienced Aircraft Painter II to perform aircraft preparation, painting, and detailing with a focus on safety and compliance.

  • Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • 2 years experience in related paint processes
    • Valid Driver's License
    • Knowledge of paint processes and products (lacquers, enamels, epoxies, urethanes, acrylics)
    • Ability to use tools and equipment for aircraft painting
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation
    • Able to pass Pulmonary Function Test for respirator certification
  • Preferred Skills:

    • Aircraft industry experience
  • Responsibilities:

    • Perform aircraft preparation, painting, and detailing under minimal supervision
    • Ensure compliance with internal and FAA paperwork through coordination with supervision and inspection
    • Follow standard operating procedures using tools like dual action sanders and paint sprayers
    • Maintain shop equipment and tools properly
    • Use sealants, paint strippers, corrosion-preventive chemicals safely with protective equipment
    • Comply with safety rules; address unsafe conditions proactively
    • Use material tracking system for parts demand creation, squawk tracking, work sign-off
    • Contribute ideas for continuous improvement activities


Pay Details: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour
