Mechanical Engineer
Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and update refrigeration products with expertise in system analysis, control systems, and manufacturing techniques.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 1-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Solidworks or other 3D modeling software
- Knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, heat transfer, or similar equipment
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with electrical controls/wiring
- Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication
- Solidworks CFD experience
Responsibilities:
- Conduct refrigeration, system, and airflow analysis
- Develop control systems and manufacturing techniques
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to bring products to life
- Research and develop new or modified refrigeration systems from concept through production
- Perform system analyses including heat gain, thermodynamic studies, CFD, energy simulations, and failure mode analysis
- Hands-on assembly of components including piping and sheet metal cabinetry
- Define test requirements, analyze results, and evaluate equipment performance
Pay Details: $29.00 to $39.00 per hour
