Seeking a Scheduling Specialist to manage project schedules, analyze progress, and support dependency and cost management across assigned portfolios.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or MIS with 4+ years of scheduling experience using Primavera P6 (additional experience may substitute for degree).
- Solid understanding of Project Management and Project Management Office practices.
- Experience in capital project management with a focus on project controls and scheduling.
- High degree of computer literacy, including advanced knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools.
- Mastery of basic and generic data skills, tools, and concepts.
- Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection guidelines.
- Primavera P6 certification desirable.
- PMI-SP and/or PMP certification preferred.
Job Responsibilities
- Create and maintain project and program schedules, including tasks, dependencies, dates, milestones, resources, and costs.
- Perform schedule analysis and dependency management across assigned portfolios.
- Lead or participate in schedule audits and ensure compliance with governance procedures.
- Cost and resource load scheduling data according to program/project requirements.
- Interface with project managers, leads, and stakeholders to gather data and adjust scheduling parameters.
- Collaborate with financial analysts and vendors to align and forecast project financials based on schedule performance.
- Maintain a scheduling database for templates and historic/completed, proposed, and active schedules.
- Provide forward-looking schedule analysis and alternative solutions for slipped schedules.
- Analyze and report anticipated and current schedule status to proactively address areas of concern or risk.
- Advise management on best practices for scheduling software coding, templates, and reporting.
Pay Details: $40.00 to $48.00 per hour
