Summary: Seeking an Electrical Engineer II for evaluation, design, and testing of electrical systems in the aviation industry.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of a B.S. in Electrical Engineering

  • 7+ years of experience in design of electrical systems for aviation

  • Knowledge of AS50881 (Wiring Aerospace Vehicle) and AC 4

3.13-1B standards and practices

  • Experience with first article testing of newly designed components

  • Experience creating/modifying code for testing/debugging new systems using MATLAB and/or Python

  • Experience with embedded systems design and testing

  • Familiarity with RF principles

  • Familiar with Harness Related Mil Specs

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar CAD drafting products

Job Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate existing electrical systems, components, and applications through testing and implementation

  • Design, build, and test electrical components and systems

  • Design electrical diagrams, block diagrams, interface control documents

  • Create conceptual wiring diagrams and release detailed wiring diagrams

  • Implement Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) segregation routes as a function of the signal type

  • Implement Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) protection

  • Select wires/cables to satisfy signal type, current, voltage, EMC, and EMI aircraft requirements

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $40.00 to $54.00 per hour
