Electrical Engineer II
Summary: Seeking an Electrical Engineer II for evaluation, design, and testing of electrical systems in the aviation industry.
Job Requirements:

Minimum of a B.S. in Electrical Engineering
-
7+ years of experience in design of electrical systems for aviation
-
Knowledge of AS50881 (Wiring Aerospace Vehicle) and AC 4
3.13-1B standards and practices
-
Experience with first article testing of newly designed components
-
Experience creating/modifying code for testing/debugging new systems using MATLAB and/or Python

Experience with embedded systems design and testing

Familiarity with RF principles
-
Familiar with Harness Related Mil Specs
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar CAD drafting products
Job Responsibilities:
-
Evaluate existing electrical systems, components, and applications through testing and implementation
-
Design, build, and test electrical components and systems
-
Design electrical diagrams, block diagrams, interface control documents
-
Create conceptual wiring diagrams and release detailed wiring diagrams
-
Implement Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) segregation routes as a function of the signal type
-
Implement Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) protection
-
Select wires/cables to satisfy signal type, current, voltage, EMC, and EMI aircraft requirements
Pay Details: $40.00 to $54.00 per hour
